Frequently asked questions
We don’t have a data engineer in-house. Does Compass still make sense for us?
Yes, that’s exactly who it’s for. We start from your tools as they are (ERP, CRM, Excel files) and tell you what you can actually use. The action plan spells out what you can do yourselves, what needs an outside provider, and what can wait.
What do we need to prepare before we start?
Nothing heavy: a list of your tools, read access to your data or exports of it, and the people we should talk to. We’ll take care of the rest.
How much of our team’s time does it take over the two weeks?
A few hours in total: a kick-off workshop, one-hour interviews with the key people, then the final presentation.
Will you access our data? How do you handle confidentiality?
We only use read-only access, after a non-disclosure agreement is signed. All access is removed at the end of the audit.
After the audit, do we have to work with you?
No. The report is yours to use however you like. Sometimes the right answer is an existing tool or your own team, and we’ll tell you so.
